The kit gives you 2 methods of making ferromagnetic fluid - the easy method with water and using the included test tube and the advanced method using oil, which requires you to use your own dish or petri dish for the experiment.
The instruction manual is folded inside the packaging itself. The experiments are described though text and no images are given.
In all it is a fun project, although I felt like the images on the package may be quite misleading, as the image shows ferrofluid, however as the text says its actually ferromagnetic fluid, which is just iron fillings suspended in water.
Theres a total of 2 experiments from this kit. The experiment suspends iron fillings in a test tube of water, the second is suspending iron fillings in oil in a dish (petri dish not part of the kit).
